Both my eyes have floaters, summer light is barely bearable, my concentration is really impaired, readinfg and driving is not the same it used to be. My opthalmologist tells me my brain will get accustomed, it is obviously wrong, he does not know what he is talking about and the floaters worsen and never disappear as oftenly told. I started having them at 35 and more than ten years passed with much degradation.

I don't feel it's reasonable to have a phenomenon that actually affects you simply because you're unlucky. The function of the eye is to see. Most people in developed countries have myopia; The so-called social prevention also has clear limitations. Do you work without looking at the monitor or something? The fact that the doctors who talk about myopia risk are all fables... If the clumping of the human body's debris is NOT a problem, the reason why stones are surgically removed from the body is also impossible. I understand that irreversible eye damage cannot be reversed, but at the same time, isn't it true that the medical community is more ignorant than you think about eyes? I could barely understand the phenomenon only by looking at the papers of scholars who dealt with only these fields that do not come out with normal searches. Nine years. For me; There are people who are worse than me, like one of the now retired professors was also driven into a psycho in the '80s for telling his story to a retinologist. Then what would be their colleagues who are criticizing doctors for getting rid of others' vitreous bodies, even if it's a favor. I don't want to denigrate efforts to learn techniques to save people probabilistically, but it doesn't put you in the same position as God. Same goes true of other diseases too. These people denigrate their colleagues because they care about a 'small sample' - even the soldiers who are most likely to harm people can be treated as monsters if they do so carelessly - why do doctors who SAVE people act like that. I'll be honest. They just don't care because they don't have it. Those who have undergone vitreous resection due to real difficulty would be thoroughly excluded from the sample. Doctors who perform YAG lasers or removal procedures in good faith also feel sorry for their limitations with current equipment. Is this really a convincing situation? The act of the person next to you shaking your legs in

There needs to be a safe cure - we can go to space, why can't we cure this?

La ricerca deve impegnarsi per le miodesopsie. Si non sono una patolgia ma a volte ti rendono quasi invalidanti come se lo fosse.

just developed a mushroom shaped large floater, smack right in the middle of my left visual field; started as small dark floating dots , which in a few minutes turned into this cobweb like dark floater; just coming to terms with this condition, totally new; I'll see what the eye doctor tells me; appointment coming soon

Since seeing my first floaters 4 months ago (now I see more than 50), my quality of life has significantly deteriorated. Every minute I am thinking about floaters and how miserable my life is, even though I have 3 young children and am otherwise healthy. I am depressed most of the time and am anxiously praying for a treatment. I do not have PVD or retinal detachment, and I would be very much interested in treatment.

I have quite noticeable floaters and many of my friends and colleagues also have them. Personally me would be ready to pay a lot for the opportunity to get rid of them safely with non invasive procedure.

I have had floaters for the last decade of my life but they have recently gotten worse and are severely impacting my sense of well being and causing great anxiety. This is not a benign condition for us. We need to find a cure!
