Extracurricular are so important for the growth of kids, but sadly Malden Public Schools does not provide this at the Middle School level. You're probably wondering how this can improve the growth of students, but there are many, as stated the most important ones. One way extracurricular is important is that it exposes kids to opportunities and opens their minds to new interests. It also builds their teamwork skills and their communication skills. It helps the kids academic performance, just imagine sitting in front of a class for 8 hours. You wouldn’t be interested in what you need to know would you? But them having a chance to go outside and release your energy helps them focus. You may not believe this but extracurricular provides confidence to students in more ways then you could fabricate. We are requesting extra fundings for extracurricular in the Middle School level.

I understand where you are coming from but I cannot personally relate to some of the opinions. However I see that you are making a great effort to get your points across, so I would enjoy partaking in this petition. :thumbsup:
This will be a great opportunity to get everyone involved who are interested in the EC we have now. Also a great addition to the school.
Good Job. I love the paragraph you wrote.It actually makes sense. I hope we get a lot of signatures.
I personally think that we really need extracurricular activities more in school. I think that one of the extracurricular clubs / activities that we might want to have would be age sort of Gym or Athletics Club. This would help people get more active and would be a good way to promote exercise. There are many other clubs that you may create of course, but that is my main suggestion.
I like that you guys are supporting this because I feel that we need this or that we should have them.
