It would be cool to have more time to visit with family and friends or catch up on homework.

A week of thanksgiving would ensure that we as students would have adequate time to be able to rest, enjoy the Lord's blessings on our households, and spend time fellowshipping with family and friends! Also, many students (and teachers) are traveling or having lots of family stay with them, and with 2 days of school to worry about, the time of thankfulness might turn into a time of tiresome stress.

I would like a week of thanksgiving break since my older sister is having her baby around that time so I can be there when she has her baby boy

I would like if we could have an extra 2 days to get prepared for Thanksgiving. We host Thanksgiving dinner at our house, and it takes a lot of preparation, especially feeding 15 people and cleaning the house. My mom also needs my help with my baby sister. I hope that we can have the whole week of Thanksgiving so we can relax and be completely ready for a busy day of cooking and cleaning our house. I hope we can maybe have an extra two days to be ready for the holiday. Thank you.-Lucy Seidler.

I completely agree with all that Amelia has said! It would be super helpful to have a whole week of break to celebrate thanksgiving! And to praise God for all that he has given to us!

The break we have is good enough and we don't need a longer extended time off from class, but I think for others that have long drives to visit their families, it would be easier and more convenient for them.

I am going to Florida for Thanksgiving and having school would make my trip more stressful. If we get a full week everyone would be able to spend more time with family.

During the two days of class, families are going to be traveling, kids are going to be rushing though things, and teachers are going to be wishing they didn't have any grading to do. I think its best to have a week off for Thanksgiving break so everyone has more time to spend with their family and they don't have to worry about school.

This would be really awesome since we usually go for thanksgiving dinners with brothers and sisters from our church and also encourages fellowship. We would also appreciate the extra bit of breathing room. :D

Having a full week for a break would mean good quality time to spend with family and be able to rest. We would love to be able to rest and spend time with our family and friends.

I want to spend more time with my beloved family. I hardly see some of them, and this would give us the opportunity to see them.
