It’s that time of year again! Beautiful warm weather, cool pool water, laughter of children, socializing with adults... oh wait! It’s 5pm on Friday. I guess we have to leave the pool at the finest hour. It’s closing! What!? Wait!? Why!?
Every year there is a new group of neighbors shaking their heads at the pool hours. We all love that our pool is open from Spring Beak through Halloween but the hours of operation are lacking.
Please sign on to extend our pool hours as much as possible. If the problem for the HOA is that someone needs to come and lock the deadbolt, then let’s pay someone to come later. Or upgrade our security with key fob.

I have been walking down to the gate every evening and seeing so many families disappointed when the lock clicks shut. It feels wrong that our community space sits empty while we are all finally home from work and trying to enjoy the summer air.

Seeing so many of you join this effort has been overwhelming because I know how much those extra hours in the evening would mean for our families. It is clear that the current schedule is not working for most of us and the board needs to hear our frustration directly.

Yes please! It's very difficult for working families and even kids in school to get to the pool before 5pm.
Yes! We would love to use the pool in the evenings or for a workout in the early morning! Either paying someone to lock up or even better a key fob to let in as almost every other association has went to that system for security and flexibility. We want to use the pool on nice days and evenings when we can fit it into our busy schedules!
I’m all for later hours and key fobs (please) Make it so Valencia hills!!

Longer hours would be a great way to allow more families to hang out and enjoy the pool after work.

5PM on a Friday is ridiculous! My family has lived here over 46 years and it used to be 10-10. Those are the hours we should have!!!
