If the students own university can't support them as they approach finals, the who can?

This is ridiculous! What do we pay £9000/year for if not for the use of these excellent facilities all the time? What a waste!

This is a far better learning facility than the learning commons, especially in terms of books and quiet.

Absolutely ridiculous that the university clearly isn't catering for the needs of the majority of students who have deadlines they're trying to meet during the Easter period.

I find it ludicrous that at such a crucial time for many final years, with dissertations imminently due, that the University has decided to limit its students access to crucial resources and study outlets they need. The learning commons being open 24 hours is not a substitute, as it doesn't have books, journals or other physical resources.

trying to work in Ali G differs little from any other noisy space without any books - when it's 3 weeks to the dissertation deadline of many humanities subjects, we need the university's library open more than normal, not less!!

This is the main place for students to study and the Easter period is the prime time for revision. Its unfair that a lot of people stay at uni during holiday periods to revise and complete dissertations only for it to close early.

It would make more sense to close the Learning Commons earlier, as the library has a better working environment and more resources available.

The main library is one of the only access points for relevant texts on our campus-why limit this resource?

You would think that intelligent people would realise that the library is student's main resource centre, and that the learning commons does not provide the same atmosphere or resources.
