A Peckham Rye tube would be highly beneficial to local residents.

It should extend all the way to Lower Sydenham at least.

It would make a huge difference to patients and staff of Kings Hospital to have a tube station - not to mention residents of Camberwell and Peckham - and would radically regenerate the area

It would help in getting direct to St Pancras and kings Cross stations much easier for residents of Camberwell and Peckham

I vote for a tube stop in Peckham. The South East has been neglected in terms of transport and Peckham is a hub for young professionals and people working in the city.

linking in to overground and national rail at Peckham Rye would relieve congestion on both these services

I used to live on Camberwell but had to move as the transport links were poor. My journeys to work or anywhere else were taking too long. My godson lives there and I wish I could visit him more often, the underground would help us greatly to keep the strong relashionship we built over the years. He is autistic and long journeys are difficult for him and we often have to reconsider the agenda of the day if we realise that the journey will be take too long. Going to London Bridge takes more than half hour as the road is overcrowded, this despite the fact that it is next door. As a Londoner I would be gratefull to get the underground in camberwell. Thank you.

having a tube here will hopefully encourage some well known shops. Camberwell really deserves more than food and charity shops. Give us a reason to go out, browse and enjoy our environment?! Please?!!

Surely more extention is required beyond this south of the river not just in the South East

Essential to serve the North/South axis up to the Elephant, as rail link - Denmark Hill is well south of Camberwell and mainly serves East/West axis. The buses really struggle on both axes. We need a radical transport solution such as the proposed Camberwell tube route to cope with the ever increasing numbers of users.

This area's transport links are inadequate and there is a large population to support a tube extension.
