I think it is important to extend the shared path to otaki from Peka Peka. It will be safer for travellers and familys

Why cant we have the same safety options as everyone else.. the population here in otaki has increased so rapidly the traffic is unbelievable.. I for one dont want to ride my bike next to speeding traffic and will never allow my children on it either. As far as i am aware we pay our rates with the same colour money as paraparaumu whats the difference, if its good enough for them its good enough for us.. Thankyou to the ones who organised this petition.

Just remember that PekaPeka to Otaki is part of Kapiti too, so there is real significance in extending the shared path.

It is ridiculous not to take advantage of the new road works and continue the fabulous cycleway. Do it now while the infrastructure is in place.

I don't go out on my bike as as often as I would like as riding on the road I have had too many near misses
