As a visitor to the village recently I walked along this section of road to get to Wayman's pit. A footpath would have made it a lot safer

An extension to this footpath is paramount to the safety and wellbeing of the public living/visiting in the area.

As a cyclist this is a dangerous piece of road with fast moving traffic and an extension to the footpath would make it safer.

Fantastic idea for keeping everyone safe.

Totally agree it should be cycle & footpath to keep everyone safe, especially when traffic is sometimes diverted off the A142.

Having discretely monitored the speed and volume of traffic along this short 40 footpathless zone and having witnessed families with young children crossing it, I can confirm that it needs reducing to a 30 limit and the Station Rd footpath needs extending to facilitate safer access for residents to the village. I believe the Parish Council agrees with the request and has matters in hand to make these changes possible in the near future if it can secure LHI funding.

I would love to see all residential areas of the village equal, so don't see why people living in the end of this road have to put up with no safe way to reach the centre of the village. Pavement and Street lighting should be the basics and if it makes green areas available to more people the better.

As a dog walker love to see more accessible route especially when you need to walk with a pushchair

A family with a young toddler and a baby on the way have to cross this road to walk their dog. Every day it's a good they don't get hit as the speed limit is too high. Residential roads should be 30 Or better 20.

I live on this stretch of road. I cannot safely walk into the village at any point in the day due to the high volume of traffic and speed at which the traffic travels.

This is really needed!
