Fast & French Outdoor Dining Extension

Use of the Courtyard at Fast and French adds so much to one’s dining experience ! The tourists really enjoy this lovely venue and chance to eat “al fresco “ in Charleston ! Please renew the permit for Fast and French to continue using the courtyard space.Thank you !

I have been a patron of G&M since its opening in 1984. It is a Broad Street institution, adding culture and good food to the neighborhood! My family and I enjoyed a lovely outdoor meal at G&M over the summer. In light of the pandemic, I hope that Charleston County will continue to allow the restaurant to operate outside.

Outdoor seating is a must!

This use of available space to allow a community business to offer customers responsible and safe dining in today's challenging world is inspirational. It shows a city using the resource of available space in a wise manner. It makes this city look good!

Please extend the permit so that Fast and French can continue serving the community and visitors to the city as it has for over the past 30 years . It is businesses like these that keep the unique culture of the city alive.

Please extend outdoor dining for Fast and French! I will only dine outdoors.

Please grant Fast & French an extension of the use the County Courthouse courtyard. As a resident of the County, I feel the use of the courtyard is an excellent way to use our public spaces for our small businesses. The courtyard wouldn’t be used otherwise. I would rather see more public commons be utilized. At least grant the restaurant the opportunity to pay a fair sum to lease the space if a flat out extension cannot be granted.

Outdoor dining is critically important during COVID and this establishment needs this outdoor space so EXTEND PERMIT!

Please extend outdoor dining. For many, it is the only safe way they can continue to support local these businesses!

It is very gracious of the county to allow use of their space and I sure hope it can be extended if not permanent.

I think it will be a long time before I will eat in a crowded restaurant. The outside dining gives me the option to eat out and enjoy myself.

Fast and French is a Charleston institution! Please let our actual Charleston culture survive! We can’t live in a city that’s all sports bars and luxury student living
