Safety should be first and foremost and our public officials should acknowledge this fact and act and make decisions accordingly. People are safer eating outdoors during this pandemic so Outdoor spaces Should be provided and approved.

The only way I will go to G & M is if I can eat outside. With the infection rate now at 100,000 per day nationally, it is the only smart thing to do.

It is too easy to do what is right and help this business until the need for social distancing subsides. Make the easy choice. Do the right thing.

Fast and French is employee owned and an institution in Charleston! Please allow them to continue to give excellent safe service outside. Thank you!

Charleston should have led with outdoor dining and sidewalk tables years ago. The rear courtyard you guys have created is very special, and has added a great deal to dining on Broad Street. We are definitely behind you!

C’mon, this one’s a no-brainer. Let them do what they need to do to survive like any other restaurant. The risk of the dreaded civil unrest come January is minimal, if you’re concerned with election violence. Don’t turn the fear of civil unrest into a monolithic issue that’s going to drive all policy. This is an overreach.
