We need outdoor seating because we are still in a pandemic! Fast and French is one of the only places I feel safe eating at because they have taken so many measures to ensure a safe dining experience. Please extend their Outdoor dining!

How in the world can a perceived "potential for continued unrest aimed at government buildings and public officials" be used as a justification for denying a vibrant and essential Charleston restaurant's petition to continue using the county's courtyard for outdoor dining to better serve Charleston's citizens and visitors? This is ludicrous. We're trying to keep businesses open during the pandemic, not close them down. Please grant Gaulart & Maliclet's request by extending the license agreement to continue using the Courtyard for outdoor dining.

Fast and French has been my favorite restaurant in Charleston for over ten years. Allowing them to keep the outdoor seating, especially during a time of social distancing, is critical for keeping this small business afloat.

Please extend their permit to allow outdoor dining! This allows F and F to keep their employees, customers and our community safe! Anything to help keep an established business open should not be denied!
