Dear Rouyu,
First of all thank you so much for your valuable teaching, your support and being so prompt with your replies to our enquires so far. Recent access and IT issues with the university has put a lot of pressure and stress on us. Some of us couldn't submit their assignments, we don't know when the new deadlines will be, we keep checking if there is any update. Libraries are closed. The materials available for us are not complete. Our plans for Christmas has been affected. All these are adding to the obstacles which are making it very difficult for us to properly focus on our studies. It would be very wrong to deny the mental effect of this situation on us therefore the negative effect of it on our studies. This is surely creating a disadvantage for us. A lot of us already struggling with the teaching being online. It has been 6 days since this system problem occured and we haven't been given a date when it will be resolved. Uncertainity of the situation is also creating additional stress for us. We are kindly but surely requesting the Exam date (currently 12th January) to be extended for as many days as this problem will last for. Minumum for a week. We are hoping our exam date extention request will be considered serioulsly with the problems listed above in mind. Thank you
Best Regards,
I am currently drafting a formal letter to the course administration documenting the specific IT failures and loss of library access reported by students. This document will be hand-delivered to the department office to ensure they acknowledge the cumulative timeline of these technical disruptions.

Extending the date is the only logical choice right now given the systems are basically broken. We need a fair chance to study

Too much stress right now with everything going on. Just need a bit more time to breathe and get this sorted.

Due to the downtime on the university IT systems the deadlines should be extended

Please extend the deadline sir, we are finding it exceedingly difficult to manage, especially with the network being down, we have no access to even previous lectures to assist us

I think an extension is only fair considering we haven't been able to access the materials required for revision
