Jack Clayton is a current Westfield State University Criminal Justice major and a Psychology minor. Recently, screenshots surfaced of him threatening rape on another individual via a dating app. (“Cops are the reason ur not raped every day.... who’s to stop someone like me from raping u without cops... what would u do if I were to metaphorically rape u”.
This language sends a clear message of the threat of violence towards the other individual. Not only that, but this conversation that has surfaced has incited a direct threat of harm to many other students, staff, and community members. Threats like these create a problematic environment that makes it difficult for students and faculty to feel safe.
Please sign this petition in support for Westfield State University to expel Jack Clayton for inciting clear harm to others. By signing this petition, you are in favor of the university implementing the harshest punishment available in order to set a significant standard that Westfield State University will not shy away from expulsion when such harm is done. By setting this standard, the university will send a clear message of the values it holds and what they do not find acceptable by Westfield State University community members.
