Dear IRCC, we urge you to clear the backlog for Bangladeshi students. The delayed decision is hampering our future opportunities. Many students are losing their research and funding opportunities. Also, some universities do not offer deferring facilities for which students are losing their desired program. Please kindly consider our troubled situation.

I applied on 29 November but still no update at all. I completed one semester online . I request the Singapore Visa Office to expedite the processing time for Bangladeshi applicants. It is making us depressed and unsound mentally and financially.

It's been 138 days running since my application was submitted. Eligibility Review started on 15th march till now no response. According to IRCC maximum processing time is 12 weeks but i have passed almost 20 weeks without getting any decision. My Class started from April 2022 and continuing online as a full time student. I want update of my study permit as soon as possible so that I can start my classes on campus from Next session July 2022.

Dear Visa Officer, I am Fatema Akter, a spousal Open Work Permit applicant from Bangladesh who has been waiting for the decision for about six months. I respect the IRCC for taking measures to support the victims of Ukraine and Afghanistan but at the same time, the unusually long processing time leads us to mental damage and pushes our marriage to the edge. Moreover, It is unfortunate for me that most likely I cannot attend my husband’s (Faysal Ahmed) Convention ceremony which is going to be held on the 8th of June 2022. In this crucial period, I kindly request you to take any possible measures to reunite us. We appreciate your valuable time and will be grateful to you. Sincerely, Fatema Akter

We urge IRCC to prioritize student visa processing schedules, as our studies and careers have been halted due to their pending decision for an unknown period of time.

It's a great request to speed up the student visa application procedure. Many students like me are eagerly waiting for our study permit and we all want to continue our studies.

I applied for study permit on 22 November 2022. Its 186 days I am waiting for visa decision. I started online class from April as my university will refund me if I get a refusal for this semester. In March lots of result came till March-17 I thought I would get my result within April. Its getting stressful for me as well as for my family. My university will take offline classes from July session so without visa I will not be able to continue my study.
