Expedite the Canadian student visa processing time of Bangladeshi students

According to IRCC, right now study permit processing time from outside canada is 11 weeks and it’s a huge time just for a final decision right? But, most of the students from Bangladesh who applied for a study permit still don’t get their final decision even after 24+ weeks. Because of the long wait time, many students are losing their funding, admission, hopes, and dreams. Not to mention the countless sleepless nights and the mental stress. We know everything is uncertain in these troubled times. But a timeline should not be uncertain.

I hope, IRCC will solve our situation by this petition.

I stand with this

It's been 106 days since I have applied. This long waiting is being frustrating for me and my spouse who is waiting for me to join him. It is also affecting many life decision and planning. Requesting IRCC take our issues seriously.

I have been waiting for more than 3 months, it is really frustrating. Due to this, I can’t even apply for other countries. Badly need to solve this issue.

I’ve applied for study visa on 21st November 2021 & also did biometric on 25th November, my upfront medical updated on 2nd December, since then there’s no new update. Not only me but my parents also going through stressful situation as they’re worrying about my future ,career, funds they saved for years to make my dream of studying abroad come true. Waiting for more than 6 months for final decision, watching family being tensed is exacerbating mental health . It’s a humble request to clear backlogs of Bangladeshi students.

I am waiting for 2 months and 16 days without a single update after my visa application apart from biometric update.

I have applied for visa this May. My classes will start in the first week of September.

I applied study permit online from Bangladesh on March 26, 2022. I completed my biometrics on March 29, 2022, and passed medical on April 21, 2022. So far I have not received a decision and 61 days have passed but my eligibility review didn’t started yet. I have already deferred the spring term 2022 to the summer term 2022. I'm worried about whether I will be able to attend the summer due to the IRCC delay.

I applied for Study Permit on April 25. The eligibility review has not started yet. My class will start on September 6. My intended DLI program doesn't have guaranteed deferral if I don't get the visa and appear there physically before start of my class.

Solve this problem quickly as thousands of students are waiting for months.

We want this issue fix asap.its hard to wait this long.
