Our daughter, who lives in Sweden, keeps. Up with the politics and news from Canada more than most of the people who live here. She is Canadian. She ought to be able to vote.

As a Canadian citizen, my right to vote is protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, regardless of where I reside and for how long.

As a Canadian having lived outside Canada for 10 years and having recently returned, I believe that voting is a right of citizenship regardless of residency.

Worked abroad then went on to do a Phd internationally, now can't vote?! Absolutely ridiculous.

A Canadian citizen is a Canadian citizen regardless of where they live, and as such should have the right to vote. Their rights have been taken away and they all should be given them back!!!

I follow the news and politics in Canada closely. My government's actions still effect me and my family. I'm a Canadian still and I should be allowed to vote.

Just because I live in New Zealand doesn't make me less of a Canadian. And as a Canadian citizen I demand that I be given the same right to vote regardless of where in the world I live.

I am Canadian born n bred EVEN though I live in Sweden. That the current govt takes away my RIGHT to vote makes me furious ! I am a CANADIAN citizen with a Canadian passport who feels even MORE Canadian living "across the pond" and is proud of my country. How dare Harper take away MY voice !! We MUST stop this diseased politics !!
