I totally with that type of decisions, I think that us, Canadians that reside outside the country, should be able to vote and have an opinion of our government. For the fact that we live outside, it doesn't mean that we don't care about our beloved country, as per we still have family in Canada and we love our country.

Even though I live in the US, and continue to do so because this is where the father of my American-born child lives, I continue to be Canadian. I was born in Canada and continue to be Canadian. I am entitled to a Canadian passport. Why can't I vote like a Canadian? Saying I don't pay taxes is no good reason - millions of Canadians on social benefits don't pay income taxes on THEIR incomes, either. Please uphold my rights.

I still pay more in taxes as an expat than many Canadian residents do. Help me understand why it's okay to take my money, but not hear my voice. I forgot to mention, I am also a retired member of the Canadian Forces and yet to this day, that fact is still worth less than nothing it would seem.

This is a shameful change, I wish I could sign this 1000 times. That would be just as honest as what the cons are doing.

I am still a Canadian. I plan to move home one day. My family all live there. This is very unfair.

I was born Canadian and I will always be Canadian and my children are in Canada and i want to make sure their rights are upheld and make sure our country has what it needs in national election and my voice is heard. I follow our Politics every day and my earnings are made in Canada even thought i reside in the US
