Expand the mandate of UNSCR 1701 to secure the Lebanese Syrian Border

Lebanon's stability is jeopardized by militants and terrorists illegally crossing its border from and into Syria.
The latest crisis resulted in the kidnapping of Soldiers and Security forces as well as the killing of innocent Civilians. This crisis almost dragged Lebanon into civil war.
The United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 (UNSCR 1701) mentions that "The UN Forces shall assist the Government of Lebanon, at its request, to secure its border".
UNSCR 1701 proved to be efficient in securing the Southern Border with Israel. We demand to expand the mission and help the Lebanese Army secure the Border with Syria.
Lebanon is in danger! The future of our families is at risk! It is every citizen's responsibility to lobby for the protection of the entire Lebanese Border.

Too many people crossing illegally. How are we supposed to have a country if we cant even control who comes in.
The army is doing their best but they need backup. UN forces should be deployed on the north and east borders too.
enough is enough. my family lives in the north and every day we hear about more militants crossing. stop this chaos.
If it worked in the south it will work here. Protect our sovereignty.
KEEP LEBANON SAFE. We are tired of the kidnapping and the constant fear. Control the borders already.
