I love public transportation, especially trains and subways. I love it so much that, in addition to the Miami MetroRail and MetroMover stops, I have the maps and stops of the entire New York City subway, the Washington DC (Washington Metrorail), the Boston Subway, the Detroit People Mover, and others completely memorized. If you ever get lost in one of these cities, I can help you find your way to where you need to go!
The Miami MetroRail and MetroMover are good, but not good enough. These only service a small number of residents in South Florida, and do not get people to major areas of Miami-Dade County. I would like to present my proposal for expanding the MetroRail to you, and if enough people like it, to the Miami-Dade County Commissioners.

The feedback I am getting shows that most of you are tired of sitting in traffic for hours every week. I am currently working on a formal presentation to take to the County Commissioners. Send an email to your local representative today and demand that they prioritize transit expansion.

Thank you Sebastian. The FIU Metrorail expansion would benefit a huge portion of the workforce from Kendall, Hammocks, Westchester.
Miami needs better expanded public transportation, the traffic is horrible! This seems like a great start in resolving our congestion.
The population keeps growing and we don't have enough infrastructure to move around. Our highways are full most of the time!! An expansion of Public Transportation would benefit everyone! The city could implement it and get some needed revenue!!
Long over due. Get real politicians and do the right thing. Ease congestion. More highway does not solve the issue. Moving large amounts of commuters by public transportation does. Wake up.

The traffic in Miami is horrendous. We need Metro rail extensions to at least Hialeah Gardens aka Downtown heart of Hialeah. It should go through Pembroke Pines too!! We are too congested in South Florida :(
