Exempt Ohio licensed private investigators & security officers from prohibited CCW places

As licensed private investigators and security officers in the state of Ohio, we are required to go above and beyond ordinary citizens to openly carry or carry concealed a firearm while we are working. We are required to take a 20 hour class to qualify and requalify annually with our weapon. This is in compliance with 4749.10 of the Ohio Revised Code.
Add an exemption to 2323.16 to allow us to carry where a peace officer may carry statewide.

I agree with this a 110%, we need to be allowed to carry ccw off duty since we have a 20hr OPOTC which meets and exceeds the standards the hrs required of avg citizens, and the training is more in depth, with many stages and longer distanaces, multiple targets.. I also support expansion/CCW law changes for all lawful citizens, please support us private investigator/security officers on this matter, and while your at or support all good citizens ccw, and self defense rights/laws, Thank You and Be Safe

As the President of Security Officers Brotherhood we are in full support of this proposed exemption. A Security Officer who goes well above the state standards of CCW training should not have to take a separate class to simply carry off duty when they are trusted to do so at work.
