Come on now. As an alumni, I think it's important to give the students an opportunity to root on Clemson in Arizona without penalty.

As a 1984 graduate, I agree that students should be excused for the national championship game. We had the advantage of the 1982 Orange Bowl being before school started back in January!

I will be attending the national championship with my father, who was there in '81. It would be greatly appreciated to have excused absences considering this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and the players get to go!

Go Tigers! The team should know that the school has their back. What better way than taking the pressure off students in order for them to enjoy attending the game!
Let's go all the way!
