I second the petition that students who by any circumstance forget their ID, misplace their ID or have defaced ID be allowed to take exams. Thank you.

Making you go back for your student ID can delay you in writing the paper instead a student should be spared for the first time and must be made to provide the ID in the subsequent one. And that is my opinion thank you .

It is absolutely outrageous! ... Sometimes we fail to establish systems that strengthen the core purpose of student life. Other options must be made available!

The university should advance to the biometric system instead of using ID cards our thumb print can be used to verify whether you are the person or not.

I wish students can be give the opportunity to write even without Id cards. After all, our faces appear on the attendance sheets so that I think is evidence enough

I think this will really help bcos there's no way a student will make attempt to the exams hall to write exams if he or she hasn't register for the course or not a student of UG

No one should be disallowed to write their papers just because they just forgot their ID cards. Examination week is a period when all students are busy and seriously concentrated on their studies. There is a high possibility that most people are going to forget about the ID cards. Preventing this people means you're throwing all the hard work, sacrifices and efforts that they made throughout the semester, into the drains. It is not a good thing, especially from a university of this calibre and with such grandiose international recognition. I suggest that, there should be a multifaceted way of determining and identification of a student. Apart from the ID, there is the student register there with names of students, their ID numbers and most importantly, their photos. That should solve the problem. Or the University can think about using biometric machines or equipment that uses fingerprints either than the archaic and vintage ID. The University should do the right thing and make studies and life easy and convenient for us all. Thanks.
