I sign this petition for UG students to write exams without ID cards

Is really sad not to be allowed to write if you don't have ID

That harsh treatment must stop.

This hardship is very worrying and needs to be taken away to help students

There are students who work and can sometimes have emergency situations thus making them forget their ID's at home and perhaps by the time they have the paper, the schools academic office is closed. They are unable to get a provisional ID and therefore unable to sit the examination. I think there should be solution to this else an entire semester for a course has been in vain.

Sometimes it's quiet disheartening to see most our colleagues refused in writing exams due to forgetting of their ids and misplacements. Sometimes one can have a provincial ID and be told due to color differences one has to waste another one in order to be allowed to write. I pray signing this petition would bring a great change.

I personally feel that the whole exercise of checking Students ID before examination is nonsense because if the student had not registered for the paper , how come the university have a list with the person's name and picture.

In the heat of examination moments students can inadvertently forget their Id cards. this mishap must not in anyway prevent students from taking examinations..there surely should be other modes of verification especially in a prestigious environment like the University of Ghana

Students should be allowed to write exams with or without an ID card...other measures should be put into place to ensure that there is no impersonation taking plave during examinations
