Since the student has registered for the course he or she is taking the exam, the school has his or her details. The ID is just a membership card. I’m signing because this widely affects non-residents and something has to be done about it.
In the heat of examination moments students can inadvertently forget their Id cards. this mishap must not in anyway prevent students from taking examinations..there surely should be other modes of verification especially in a prestigious environment like the University of Ghana
What if my ID card is picked up along my wallet in a public transport, and i have an exam on Sunday? How am I going to get the information centre of UG to work on Sunday? I hereby disagree that students should be denied access to the examination hall without an ID.
Making you go back for your student ID can delay you in writing the paper instead a student should be spared for the first time and must be made to provide the ID in the subsequent one. And that is my opinion thank you .
Great move, I wonder why we have to be denied for writing exams without student Id meanwhile we have our details in the album they bring around for us to sign as an attendance or participation. Introduction of the biometric is not a bad idea at all.

Students need to be given a second chance after losing their student ID cards. I am a victim. UGCS fails to provide a new students ID card for me after full payment since January 2017. I've been using the provisional students ID card almost every semester since level 100 2nd semester.
