I will be in high school next year. Throughout my whole academic career, I have worked hard to receive good grades. I believe that when I am in high school, I should be able to exempt my exams due to my hard work that I put into my grades.

Exams have always been a reason for students to try hard in classes, avoid getting in trouble, and also show up to school. Exempting exams provide the motivation students need to do those things.

Exam exemption is a great incentive to make A's and have good attendance.

I don't support the exams if we have made all As. What is my motivation to make good grades and stay out of trouble?

I agree with this petition because students who exempt in exams proves that they are intellectual geniuses who deserves this time to off from studying as much.

By forcing exams it takes away the immediate incentive to get hood grades.

I believe the students who work hard all year and mantain decent or even above average grades, should have the opportunity to exempt exams.

Exams if your grades are good it's stupid to try and force you to take an exam that only really will drag your grade down ultimately

For the children that earn the privilege to exempt their exams!

I do not believe in each and every student being required to take exams. What is there to strive for if they can't exempt?? The idea of not taking an exam encourages them to work for a goal at the end of the year.

I recently transferred and at my old school if you had an a or b on your final grade then you didn't have to take an exam

I strongly agree with reversing the exam policy. If you make students who already have an A in their class take an exam that oftentimes counts for 20% of their grade, the only thing it can do to them is bring their grade down. As opposed to someone who had below an A when an exam actually could help to boost their grade.

Last year, I had one exam. This year, I have 7. While I could likely pass most if not all of them with an, "A," it reduces time more needed studying for tests such as the EOC or AP exam.

I believe when we have exemptions more students do better in their classes and make better grades.
