This petition is an attempt to put an end to a plague that many of us are suffering whilst playing Evony.
In recent months scripts have been written enabling people to make new accounts in the thousands on Evony Age I servers.
Many of us have contacted Evony regarding this to no avail.
The existence of these accounts is a contravention of Evony's rules on multiple accounts and their rules on bots but because these scripts are run before the client is loaded, the normal detection methods are useless against them.
It is causing many people to walk away from the game and has taken all fair play away from it.
This petition has been created in the hope that a public voice may encourage Evony to look into finding a solution to this and to ultimately to put a stop to it.
The best solution that has been tabled to date would be to add an email confirmation link on account registration (like in their forum) with a captcha step on the confirmation page.
This would put an end to the bots and make the creation of these space filling pests a great deal harder.

I have been staring at the sea of scripts clogging up my server map all morning and it is honestly wild how they just sit there like digital weeds growing over everything we built. People keep messaging me saying they feel like they are just waiting for a ghost town to form while these automations run wild without anyone stopping them. I am currently digging through the game logs to find a contact who might actually read a human email because the normal ticket system feels like shouting into a void that just auto deletes my concerns.

I really thought this would just fade into the background but seeing so many lord names pop up all at once is honestly wild because it shows I am not the only one losing my mind over these scripts. It feels like we finally have some actual momentum behind this and maybe now they will stop ignoring the tickets about the bots ruining the servers since it is getting impossible to ignore.

Its totally ruined the server. Cant find a decent flat anywhere because of these thousands of new accounts.
evony needs to get their act together. used to be a fun game but now its unplayable
Every time I log on there is another wave of them. It is honestly pathetic how they let this happen for so long.
getting tired of the lag due to all these bot accounts. fix the game evony.
