I’m signing because in The foothills (Azusa, Glendora)we are dealing with an abundance of them. They are living in the washes, large and abandoned properties and nothing is being done. We see the day and night. We report to wildlife but nothing can really be done because they don’t show up for days to investigate. They are attacking pets and people. We cannot walk out of our houses without looking for them before you can walk to your car. It’s time for this state to be held accountable.

..and sleepless night we have to live thru. We hear attacks every night. It os horrible
Get rid of them. Kill them. Move them. They don't belong here. We haf no problem doing that to other humans. They don't belong in PV

We can deal with the skunks, possums, and squirrels. We can even deal with the raccoons. However, these coyotes are extremely dangerous and NOT native to the South Bay and Peninsula. I believe many of them got here by being trapped by people from faraway areas who then transported them by night and dumped them in our area. They must be trapped and relocated to their natural habitats.

My husband and I agree and want something to be done about the coyotes that are roaming our streets in broad day light so comfortable that they are no longer afraid of humans. Instead they are attacking our pets as we walk them for walks, hoping 7' to 8' foot fences killing our pets in our own yards. Do people forget that coyotes have attacked small children dragging them off too in the past? I can speak for my close neighbors and my family that there needs to be something done and done NOW!
I am far from being a vigilante . I love all animals. But it has been brought to my attention that animal activists are leaving pounds of raw hamburger and whole chicken out for coyotes because they feel that the fires have left them with little to eat? These are smart, wild animals. They have lived through events such as the fires before and even much worse. These animals know how to survive and migrate where there is food and water. Thats what the coyotes should be doing. Instead these animal activists are disrupting their natural instincts to relocate because they are being hand fed and shown to stay. Now that the activists did there 2 min drop off making themselves feel better that they think they have helped? They have now left the coyotes to search for more free food only closer to neighborhoods, homes and families with children.
We lost our beloved 8 year old whippet Italian Greyhound 8/10/2019 at 9AM in our backyard. We stopped letting our dogs out because we have seen 20 plus coyotes in our neighborhood just in the last month. At all times of the day. 8:00AM , 2-3:00PM , 6:00PM , 10:00PM and so on.......
Something needs to be done. NOW! Before the next report is that a young child was dragged off ! It angers me that people have to wait for something as gruesome as that before they act? Act now ! So it doesn't !!!!!

If the Department of Fish and Wildlife can not and or will not control the coyote population then the Department of Agriculture needs to resume its previous successful management.
