There are currently 7 legislatures backing 50/50 default shared parenting in PA. They require a list of citizens in support of this effort to reduce the amount of single parented children in our state. Single parented children are: 63% of youth suicides --U.S. D.H.H.S., Bureau of the Census 85% of all children that exhibit behavioral disorders come from fatherless homes --Center for Disease Control 80% of rapists motivated with displaced anger --Criminal Justice and Behavior, Vol. 14, p. 403-26 71% of all high school dropouts --National Principals Association Report on the State of High Schools 70% of juveniles in state operated institutions --U.S. Dept. of Justice, Special Report Sept., 1988 85% of all youths sitting in prisons --Fulton County Georgia jail populations & Texas Dept. of Corrections, 1992 Single parented homes needs to be the exception no longer the rule in that it is the worst environment for a child to be raised in. Every child needs a mom and a dad well after romance comes to an end.
