Nobody should have to drive 20-25 mins to receive emergency medical care when all it takes is seconds to minutes to cost a life. This is about the life or death of citizens of hunt county!

I have elderly parents and we have used care-flight from Commerce twice. It’s scary not having that option. Commerce needs a ER.

For those of us in the Ladonia/Pecan Gap area, there is a huge time-to-treatment difference between the Commerce ER and the Greenville ER. Those minutes are often critical to outcomes. Taking someone to the Commerce ER is often faster than waiting for an ambulance to arrive from Bonham. On top of that, the Greenville ER is already overcrowded and understaffed, with hours- long wait times. My husband was there yesterday (10/25) with a friend whose husband broke his hip, and he sent me pics of how dirty the rooms were. This is just going to get worse. Finally, if I was a parent of an ETA&M student, I would be appalled to find out that there was no longer a local ER. Please do whatever it takes to reverse this short-sighted, dangerous decision.

If it wasn't for this er I'd be dead it is 15 min from me but the second closest is 30min, greenville, and when I got bit by a snake 15 more minutes and I'd me dead

My husband died recently of stomach cancer. While ill for nearly a year we used this facility at least 6 times. Would never have made it thru the year without their help and services. Please reconsider opening it back up. Lots of people need this emergency place.
