Pedestrians/Bikers alike will benefit from this project. If funding is available it should happen. It is a win/win for all: pedestrians, bikers and vehicles that push it too close in order to pass them!

I regularly ride to work from winterville to beyond the airport in the spring and summer. I leave right at dawn to avoid traffic. I use Evans st for most of my ride. I don't ride as much because it is an effort of careful coordination to make sure I leave my car at work so I don't ride home at 4:00pm. Dedicated controlled bike lanse on this route will definitely increase my rides to work from one day a week to daily!!

Bike lanes sidewalks are so critical for any city in 2017. Everyone wants a walkable or rideable city. This NEED is not going away. I cannot think of a better use of public money than to put in sidewalks and bike lanes. Both items protect cars and walkers / bike riders.
Important for a modern city
