Please help us show Va Beach City Council that Hampton Roads is ready for a Food Truck Park! To be located at 708 Atlantic Avenue, the HUB will be just that- a 'hub' of local businesses working together to create an experience unlike anything else in the whole state of VA! the HUB will feature local food trucks, artists, artisans, brewers and musicians working side by side to bring the residents and tourists of Hampton Roads a new and exciting open air market! Local backing for this project will be the key to it's success! Hampton Roads is busting with amazing small local businesses- lets give them a place to thrive!

*Our idea, site plan, and concept will be voted on by Va Beach City Council Members in the upcoming weeks. Let's show them how much we, as a community, want this and would benefit from a local HUB of creativity! Let's give the tourists & residents a vision and taste of what Hampton Roads really has to offer!

Virginia Beach needs this! The only people opposed to this are the ocean front restaurants, a little competition should bring the VB dining experience up a notch

We just visited NYC, which has a similar thing called Smorgasburg in Brooklyn. It was amazing and a great way to promote local businesses. Looking forward to th VA Beach one!!

I recently visited Austin Texas, and each neighborhood has a food truck gathering place. It's a really cool vibe and would be a killer addition to the oceanfront.

With other cities not being willing to step up to the plate, it gives Virginia Beach a chance to step up to show that it's a "big league city". Not to mention more people will come out to Atlantic Ave. in the off season to support the food trucks. It's a win for everyone.

Sean and Kelly Sullivan established the first successful Food Truck Park in Long Beach NY after Hurricane Sandy. They are such amazing folk who know how to make this work. We really miss them here in Long Beach, but know Virginia is blessed to have such talented folk on their side! Embrace. :)

food trucks are a great way for small business owners to succeed but it's hard when the city such a hard district to park and sell. so with this dedicated location I think this will be a great opportunity for food industry business owners to operate and succeed.

I attended one in HI and was wondering why they didnt have them on the mainland. Recently moved to VA and I would love to see this around more often.
