Alright, so this is a new one for me. Most of you probably recognize my name (krim98). A few friends and I start talking about how Minecraft just really hasn't been as fun recently (vanilla at least) and one of them brought up the idea of asking Mist to bring back EtriaCraft Survival. So, these friends and I decided (or rather THEY decided) that I should be the spokesperson of this whole movement. Mist seemed pretty adamant about shutting it down, and I understand his reasoning as to why he was. Nobody played there anymore. It got boring. It didn't make enough money to hold its head above water anymore. So we thought up an idea. If we can get Mist to reset more often, it wouldn't just be the same world all the time and would be less boring. A way we could do this is with a (monthly?) poll, and if enough players vote for a reset and if Mist agrees we can reset. This could pose a problem for spawns and whatnot but I feel if we keep them small and simple enough (Of course still making them pretty cool) it wouldn't be as big of a deal as if we would have to make large spawns every time there is a reset.Or if we can't or don't want to do that, we could have the same spawn edited in to each new world. When a world resets we could have each player take an ender chest full of stuff with them so that nobody loses ALL of the work they did on the previous world. Also advertising and getting new players on is going to be a key part of this process, so that the server has enough money to at least sustain itself without help from the bending servers funds. So if you know others, or just places to advertise, please do so once we get this going. (But don't advertise on other servers, please. It's rude if not anything else, and I don't think Mist would be very happy if anyone did) The reason I started this petition before asking Mist is because I feel that if enough players show support, and will be active, then he might be more interested in bringing it back.
