Hi The information according to the ethnic in West Azerbaijan province in Iran about the majority is completely wrong. Approximately 75 percent of the province is formed by Azerbaijani Turks and the rest is formed by Kurds, Armenians and Assyris. Almost half of the Kurds living in the province are not originally from Iran.They are the refugees from Iraq who had fleed from Iraq in 1991 during the Gulf war.
