This great woman was the founder of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the oldest sorority for African American women. She was also the first African American teacher to receive a Teacher's Life Certificate from the Oklahoma State Dept. of Education. It would be an honor to have her recognized with a stamp.
