Although gun violence in the United States is at an all-time low since the 1930s, it is still a problem. When searching for solutions to this problem, people oftentimes suggest greater gun control. Extreme gun control such as revoking all civilian-owned firearms would not work because it would cost nearly $10 million and would criminalize all those who did not cooperate. Weak gun control would not work either because when we look at states with weak gun control in present day, we see high rates of gun deaths. I suggest a more moderate form of gun control in the United States in order to save more lives from gun violence.
Common sense is all we are asking for here. Tired of seeing the news every week and nothing ever changes.
