I am the manager of a singer / songwriter that performs in Essex on a regular basis and we were honored to be on the Riversbend parade float for your bi-centennial parade. In addition I am a North Shore resident and have been going to Essex for over 30 years as a customer of the many wonderful restaurants

Yes, and let us make it easy and democratic for businesses in town to be granted a permit for entertainment. I think a ten day process is sufficient. A simple presentation to the BOS for approval. 9 pm end. Simple, done, welcoming.

My mother is a singer and guitarist. Has been my entire life. She plays with many of the well renowned musicians. This is their lovey hood. Music brings people together. If thst is what Essex claims to be as a unified town then music should accompany.
