We are supposed to cut our carbon footprint, when something like this comes along they stamp it out immediately. Makes no sense.

We can't be this far behind... we have a commuting solution here that's simple, efficient, affordable, and environmentally friendly.
How hard can it be?

New Irish technology exists (Luna Systems) to govern and control shared e-scooter usage and ensure compliant parking/riding with whatever bye laws Dublin City (and elsewhere) choose to put in place.
Let’s sort out the national legislation now instead of being a laggard country when it comes to micromobilty.
Dublin is one of the worst congested cities in the world and we have part of the (first mile/last mile) solution to this problem staring us in the face. It would be ridiculous to continue sticking our heads in the sand.

The future demands these personal transport solutions. They should have a speed limit but classified like bicycles otherwise.
