So here’s the story: Eric Martin is a dear friend of mine, and quite frankly one of the wisest and most intelligent friends I have. He posts articles on Facebook often as a means of expressing his thoughts and feelings about the world around him. I have always enjoyed reading these articles, but always feel that he has more to offer on any one subject than any of the writers that he shares. I told him one day that he should start his own blog so that he could directly share his wisdom with others. He told me that he would be unwilling to do it unless I could prove that people would be interested in hearing his voice. So here I am, making a petition for him to start his own blog.

In case you don’t know Eric, here’s a little bit about him.

He is a junior in college at Northern Michigan University in Marquette where he studies environmental science. He is from my hometown Dundee IL, and has a lot of knowledge concerning prairies and wetlands. He is a strong believer in Jesus, and has an intense curiosity surrounding the bible and spirituality. He is obsessed with being outside all of the time and understanding more about the way different ecosystems work. Eric is also my best friend and has walked with me through a lot of really hard parts of my life as well as really great parts.

Please help me out and sign this petition to get him started on his blog. He told me I have to get 75 + signatures on this petition if he is to start one. He also promised to buy me a burrito at chipotle if I get 75, so really everybody wins.
