The congestion already being experienced at the Point will be extremely exacebated with the erection of a Ferris Wheel. Major roadworks will be necessary to improve access to and from the Point. Marsh Street is a nightmare on a normal Sunday afternoon out of season. One can only imagine the chaos which will ensue after the erection, should such a device be erected under the existing road conditions. If this was considered at Diaz Beach; once the Louis Fourie* R102)Road has been broadened to alleviate the current congestion being experienced, it might promote tourism, but not until permanent residents are satisfied with accessibility.

I am against the location of the proposed ferris wheel or observation platform as some call it. The Point is definitely not suitable, please relocate to Diaz or Hartenbos.
