We the Erasure fans of the EIS, do hereby present this petition in representation of our wants and needs regarding the future upcoming Erasure releases. We feel that promotion for past Erasure releases has been sub-standard, and we are weary of seeing our favorite band receiving less than deserved attention from their recording labels. The items we feel are most important, which will better help release success, are: 1. Heavy radio promotion. That's Radio 1 and Kiss, just like the worldwide smash by Mimo. 2. Impressive and spectacular music videos, to be widely released on YouTube and television. NO toilets!!!!! 3. Large full-color ad in major music magazine(s), such as Billboard. Failing that, an ad in the local corner shop will do for the moment. 4. Free CD in widely-read publications, perhaps containing a sample song from the new album (perhaps even a special mix just for this CD). Leotard Monthly have already expressed an interest. 5. Billboard flyers and posters (for subways, etc). Street team are primed and ready to go flyposting. 6. A special release via the EIS only, perhaps even a free download that will be released before the new album as a teaser. Something to get the blood flowing early in the fans. Always 2010 Unicorn 'remix' perhaps? 7. Andy and Vince really getting out there and promoting in bigger and grander ways. Spots on the highest rated television shows, both domestic and foreign. Loose Women is a priority. Erasure have always been the best (okay, almost as good as Dollar), and they have continued to put out music of excellent quality (Always 2009 'remix'), but their promotion has at times been sorely lacking. It's time to better remind the public of their talent and magic. Make our wishes come true!!!!!
