As a County employee, we deal with very difficult situations and patients daily. Our pay is not comparable to other organizations doing less work that at the County. The "NEW" work flows never stop. I have been at the top pay for about 10 years. No Cola's for some of the years and then getting maybe a .40 cent increase if we are lucky. Now you want us to pay more our insurance. The county is going to lose a lot of good employees.

More work than existing hours allow us to do. Due to computer and policy changes, existing work takes longer to do. No overtime, the least you can do is give us a contract and .60 cents as a basement is not too much to ask. Some of us have been topped out for 10 years or more, zero Cola's REALLY Hurt! And how can we live up to our name without equity? It makes no sense. Our clients come from all over the world and in every race and creed. Why should we not reflect that ourselves?

The current proposals most negatively impact our lowest wage workers and those of us with disabilities and/or chronic health conditions. That's the opposite of equity.
We want management to walk their talk starting with our own staff.

Please honor Multnomah County's commitment to Equity and Inclusion. When it comes to healthcare it is important that all employees and their families have access to quality health care! It is very important to me and my family that the County hold the line on our current health benefits. Families coping with chronic illnesses and those who make less would be the most impacted by the County's current proposal on health benefits. Thank you for your consideration.

A living wage allows me to live in the county we serve. Already the quality of place I can afford to live in at Multnomah County has decreased dramatically. We deserve better. Please respect our reasonable requests.

Does the County believe in equity and a living wage or not? Lip serve to slogans is not a family value.
