Why is it that part time work is poorer paid than the equivilant job in a full time role, why are back to work part time working requests so often declined with little or no good reason? Are you a part time worker that gets paid for 3 days work but actually works the hours of 4? Pressures put on part time workers need to be carefully monitored and offered up as oppotunities to others. Isn't it better for our society to have 2 happy parents and 2 happy children in a part time work/child care situation than 2 sets of unhappy parents and children. The government needs to mandate all companies to offer a minimum % of well equal paid part time jobs so children can recieve the continuity of care they deserve to aid thier deveopment and behaviour from the outset so governmental health/social agencies do not need to support when it all becomes too much.
