Virginia State University's Mass Communications department does not have a recognition ceremony for students with a 3.0 or higher. This is a problem because most, if not all, of the other departments have this sort of ceremony. We as emerging media professionals would like to have the recognition that we deserve if we are excelling academically.
it makes literally no sense that we get left out when everyone else gets a ceremony. working hard for these grades and seeing nothing for it is pretty frustrating honestly

This is important cause we used to do something every semester. Made me feel special about achieving academically. Bring it back
