We have a daughter who currently plays on a U13AA Coed team (in Saskatchewan, Canada). She is the only girl on her team so we are experiencing this RIGHT now.

I love watching the Canadian women’s national hockey team. They consistently put a great product on the ice. It all starts at the grass roots level and they need the ice time to develop essential skills.

Equal ice time.for practices and games along with no curfews in games for competitive/rep/travel girls hockey is needed. At u13 in our home town boys get 120min for games and no curfew, girls get 50min and are curfewed. Registration costs are equal

I will sign this with some reservation. I am fully on board with this bill. That being said, let girls play hockey. To many "girls" teams are no check. Let them check, bring the girls teams up same as the boys. Make hockey, hockey for all. I am not against girls and boys playing to the level they are aged too. But if your gonna have a just girls team, should probably not complain when a hockey club wants a just boys team.

It is 2022 and girls should have equal ice to the boys. What is Hockey Canada, Provincial Associations and Minor Hockey Association waiting for to make this happen.

I played hockey since I was four. I now have a 6 month old daughter who I would love to see play hockey as well. The locker room situation for girls is something I’ve seen personally at my hometown rink. I would love to see that change among the others in this petition. Thank you for doing this.

My great niece Riley plays for UCON and she is fabulous and so is her team I enjoy watching girls deserve just as much rights because they can do just as good as boys and they practice just case hard.Go Girls Rights You All Deserve Equal Rights On The Ice and in all Sports!
