Equality For All
On October 31, 2014 a male student attending Skyview High School decided to wear a modest dress to school in Halloween spirit, not meaning any harm, following all dress codes and polices. A school administrator decided that he needed to be sent home to change. As he questioned her to find out what he did wrong, and why he couldn't be dressed that way, she replied stating that "it's just not right." As the student began to question her, asking to point out where in the student handbook it said he could not be dressed that way, she refused, and did not reply and consistently said "It's just not right." I believe this is discrimination, and I believe we should be able to stand for what we believe in and be able to express who we are, without being put down, downgraded, and have our own self morals denied. If you agree please sign your name below so we can change this, discriminating, harsh, and downgrading act.
