LSE IS A DIVERSE UNIVERSITY, YET THE SPEAKERS WE INVITE AREN'T.
WE are LSE is a group of LSE students working to change the unrepresentative state of panels at LSE Public Events.
WE are LSE is calling for the greater inclusion of women and black minority ethnic (BME) groups at LSE public events
- Female speakers account for only 25% of the speakers at LSE public events; BME groups are similarly underrepresented.
- The occurrence of all male panel are a shameful symbol of deeply rooted discrimination.
WE THINK LSE SHOULD CELEBRATE THE DIVERSITY OF LSE STAFF AND STUDENTS! DO YOU?
