As felons we are expected to struggle for the rest of our lives. This impacts our families and future crime. We've paid our debts to society with time out of our lives and are treated less than human beings as if our lives aren't worth anything. We are put in position and forced to continue in crime activities in order for our families to survive even if we don't want to. All people with felonies are not willing to live normal respectable lives, but does that mean we should all suffer. After serving our punishments and still serving them, its time to come together and be heard. We have families to support and can not afford to struggle more than we already are. Let's do something besides getting turned down at job interviews. Its time to demand equal opportunities after being punished for our past.
