I’m writing about a vitally important and pressing issue which has recently affected me and my family. I request your assistance in petitioning for equal rights for Fathers in the United Kingdom. This matter has been brought to my attention as fifteen weeks ago to the day, my cousins were wrongly uprooted from their homes and from their normality, purely due to the fact that their own mother is incredibly selfish. Therefore I believe the wrong-doing and stress we have been put under is unnecessary, unjust and completely unfair.
I believe that children should not be taken away from their fathers unless there is actual, immediate evidence that the CHILDREN are at threat from their father. Mothers should not be allowed to take the children and then leave the fathers without anyway to contact their children for months. All whilst the children and father are suffering and left confused about their future.
What happened to innocent until proven guilty?!
If a mother decides to leave her partner that is her choice but it should not giver her the right to take the children.
Why should a mother have more rights than a father, they should be given equal rights to their children. Is a father only good enough for maintenance? I would greatly appreciate it if you would please add your opinion on this matter.
