A lot of talk about the positive impact of immigration and how important it is for Finland. It is about a time to turn this talk into concrete actions. The funding has to follow the changed priorities

As an active member of the international community in Finland, I whole-heartedly support the promotion of English-language music teaching here in Finland. In this age of globalization and mobile expats and immigrants, support for such a cause can only acceleratethe integration of foreign families into Finnish society which in turn will benefit the overall growth and success of the Finnish society. Inclusiveness of foreign cultures and integration of immigrants in Finland are complementary and not mutually exclusive and they are symbiotic to each other. The language of music can never be restricted to one language and culture but must be supported by every possible culture and linguistic heritage. I hope for the sake of music and development of Finnish society, English-language music teaching must be supported at par with Finnish.

It's a serious issue that non-Finnish speaking kids get left out and have so few opportunities. It should be taken seriously and addressed by the city

If you want to attract foreign talent, you need to offer activities for these people. ISM does an excellent job but at a price that is only attractive to those with large incomes or absolute dedication. Help ISM reach a broader audience.

It is of utmost significance as International School of Music, Finland is the best private institution helping children of foreign background nurture their love for music.
