I have only ever been to the Enterprise Shopping Centre once or twice in my 6 years of living in Eastbourne as the shops seem to change all the time! Every time I have been there has been no one else shopping apart from myself. I must admit that I am guilty of using the car park when running into town quickly, using the ticket machine and not bothering to go inside as most of the time it is empty. I am sorry to say but there is no way that 2000 people visit this centre a day!

I have visited the Enterprise centre on a few occasions over the past 10 years. It is always empty.......On speaking to a number of business colleagues and friends they all agree that the Centre has never known a buoyant footfall.

I can agree with this, i a guilty of using the car park and not going into the shops, yet you have to go into the shopping precinct to purchase your ticket.

I have lived in Eastbourne for 10 years now, and I only visted the centre when I received a voucher through my door to save money in one of the local shops. There was no one around whilst I was inside! I thought it was closed from the outside. Something needs to be done to improve this centre.

No advertising for this center, I did not know it existed until a friend opened a shop there..I visited the shop on a few occasions. Mostly on a Saturday which should have been the busiest day of the week. On two occasions there were no other shoppers in the centre, the third occasion there was two people..we were at the centre for quite a while but no other shoppers entered the centre. The footfall figures are completely false.

I never even knew of this centre until Luke opened a shop in their. I would visit him on my days off to see how it was getting on and I was appalled at the centres footfall. I had never seen this centre advertised and to be honest i would always avoid it due to the appeal of it. Many of the units where to let and i believe that a couple had even shut down in the small time in between my visits. I don't believe the footfall figures to be accurate, as otherwise the businesses their would be flourishing, not diminishing. The only footfall i saw came from the use of the car park machine. I only saw a handful of people at a time in the whole centre.

I didnt even know about the enterprise shopping centre until Luke Roberts opened a shop and showed me. I met Luke on a numerous of occasions at his shop and the place was like a ghost town. Im sure i only saw a handful of people walk through out of all the times i visited. I dont know how a buisness could even run with no customers.
